I don’t like regular meetings since I find them inefficient and if you really have to have a meeting I prefer standing up meetings so people don’t waste each other’s time for no reason. In our business we mostly use emails or IM and you can check the messages when you don’t get interrupted. Jason Fried has similar theory of working that the office isn’t a good place to do it.
