I don’t like regular meetings since I find them inefficient and if you really have to have a meeting I prefer standing up meetings so people don’t waste each other’s time for no reason. In our business we mostly use emails or IM and you can check the messages when you don’t get interrupted. Jason Fried has similar theory of working that the office isn’t a good place to do it. At TEDxMidwest he lays out the main problems and offers three suggestions to make work really work. Good watch.
I think there isn’t far a time when we will all unlike Facebook. We have been using this monstrum of promotional application for long time but more and more we read about how Facebook is scamming it’s users. Here is an excellent post that says it all. Facebook fare well
